Navigate with Waze from your in-car (AAOS) display without having to plug in your phone.
Waze is now available on all car models that support Google built-in with Google Automotive Services.
Sign in with a QR code
First, make sure you have the latest version of the Waze app on your phone, then:
- On your in-car display, open Waze
- With your phone, scan the QR code
- Tap Yes, it's me
Note: Some Waze features and settings are not available from the built-in version of Waze.
Sign in as a guest
First, make sure you have the latest version of the Waze app on your phone, then:
- On your in-car display, open Waze
- When the QR code appears on your screen, tap Skip
You will be directed to the Waze map and can start navigating with the app.

Do I need to install Waze on my phone to use it?
Note: The mobile version of Waze offers features and settings that aren't currently available on in-car systems. Once you set your preferences on your phone, they'll update on your built-in version as well.
