Need to make a stop before you reach your destination? Add a stop during your drive.
Note: You can only add one stop per route. To stop at a different location, start a new drive.
Step 1: Enter your destination
- Open Waze
- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap View routes if you're navigating to a new destination
- Tap Go now to start your navigation
Step 2: Add a stop
- Tap the ETA at the bottom of the screen
- Tap Add a stop
- Search for the relevant location. For suggested stops, like food, gas, or nearby parking, tap the relevant icon below.
- Tap the location you want to add
- Tap Go
- Tap Add a stop
- Tap Go now
Remove a stop
You can only remove the first stop in your drive.
- Tap the ETA
- Tap the stop
- Tap Remove
Android Auto
Add a stop on Android Auto
Step 1: Enter your destination
- Open Waze
- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap Go now if you're navigating to a new destination

- Tap
- Tap the search bar
- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap Add a stop
Stops can't be removed from routes on Android Auto.

Step 1: Enter your destination
- Open Waze
- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap Go now if you're navigating to a new destination

- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap Add a stop

CarPlay
Add a stop on CarPlay
Step 1: Enter your destination
- Open Waze
- Search for your destination
- Tap your destination
- Tap Go now if you're navigating to a new destination

- Tap Add a stop
