A bug refers to any type of issue that causes a feature, flow or UI element to function different than originally intended.
Bug reports should be used for reporting technical issues only;
If you have an idea for a functionality or feature that doesn’t currently exist in Waze, please submit a suggestion.
Before creating a new bug report, please check:
A) Can you reproduce the issue?
- No - it might have been a momentary issue. You're welcome to share the details in the discussion forums.
- Yes - continue to the next step:
B) Has this issue already been reported?
Please search for the bug, using the Search bar in Waze Discuss for Beta. Use keywords that describe your issue (i.e. inbox, ETA, favorites, etc.).
- If your issue has already been reported, Upvote it to let us know you’re also experiencing this bug. Please add a comment including your description of the issue, and logs if possible.
- If you can’t find your issue, please create a new bug through the Waze app or Waze Discuss for Beta.
- Please make sure to include as much information as possible as detailed here.
Upvoting an existing bug is more powerful than creating a new one since the more upvotes a bug receives, the higher it gets prioritized.
