What changes when Battery Saver is on
When your watch turns on Battery Saver, it will only show you the time. To save power, your watch:
- Stops sending you notifications
- Disables vibration, location services and most background data
- Turns off 'Always on' display
- Won't connect to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or mobile networks
When Battery Saver is on, check the time by pressing the Power button.
What happens when you take off your watch
After 30 minutes of inactivity, your watch will recognise that it’s not on your wrist, and will then switch to a low-power mode.
Depending on your watch, some of these changes may happen:
- The watch screen turns off.
- Notifications, alarms and alerts from your phone are disabled.
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile services are turned off.
- Less battery power is used in the background.
To return your watch features to normal, put it back on your wrist.
