Find the URL of a page or image

You can copy and paste or share a page or image with its web address or URL.

Get an image URL

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app , Chrome app Chrome, or Firefox.
  2. Go to images.google.com.
  3. Search for the image.
  4. In Images results, tap the image to get a larger version.
  5. Copy the image URL based on your browser:
    • Google app: At the top right of the image, tap More More and then Share Share and then Copy .
    • Chrome app: At the top right of the image, tap More More and then Share Share and then Copy link .
    • Firefox: At the bottom right of the image, tap Share Share. Under “Tap to copy link,” tap the URL.

Tip: The image URL starts with https://images.app.goo.gl/ or https://google.com/imgres?imgurl.

Add a copied URL

After you copy a URL, it saves to your device’s clipboard.

To add or paste the URL:

  1. Touch and hold the text field.
  2. Tap Paste.

Get a search results page URL

Important: You can’t get a search results page URL with the Google app.

For a webpage
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app Chrome or Firefox.
  2. Go to google.com.
  3. Search for the page.
  4. Copy the URL based on your browser:
    • Chrome: Tap the address bar. Below the address bar, next to the page URL, tap Copy .
    • Firefox: Tap and hold the address bar. Tap Copy.
For an image
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app Chrome or Firefox.
  2. Go to images.google.com.
  3. Search for the image.
  4. In Images results, tap the image to get a larger version.
  5. Copy the URL based on your browser:
    • Chrome: Tap the address bar. Below the address bar, next to the page URL, tap Copy .
    • Firefox: Tap and hold the address bar. Tap Copy.

With the Chrome or Firefox app
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome or Firefox app.
  2. Go to google.com.
  3. Search for the page.
  4. In search results, tap the title of the page.
  5. Copy the URL based on your browser:
    • Chrome: Tap the address bar. Below the address bar, next to the page URL, tap Copy .
    • Firefox: Tap and hold the address bar. Tap Copy.
With the Google app
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app .
  2. Search for the page.
  3. In search results, tap the title of the page.
  4. At the top right, tap More More and then Copy link.
