You can copy and paste or share a page or image with its web address or URL.
Get an image URL
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google app , Chrome app , or Safari.
- Go to images.google.com.
- Search for the image.
- In Images results, tap the image to get a larger version.
- Copy the image URL based on your browser:
- Google app or Safari: At the top right of the image, tap More Share Copy.
- Chrome app: At the top right of the image, tap More Share . Under “Tap to copy link,” tap the URL.
Add a copied URL
After you copy a URL, it saves to your device’s clipboard.
To add or paste the URL:
- Tap the text field.
- Tap Paste.
Get a search results page URL
Important: You can’t get a search results page URL with the Google app or Safari.
For a webpage- On your iPhone or iPad, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app .
- Go to google.com.
- Search for the page.
- At the top, tap the address bar to select the entire URL.
- Tap the selected URL Copy.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app .
- Go to images.google.com.
- Search for the image.
- In Images results, tap the image to get a larger version.
- At the top, tap the address bar to select the entire URL.
- Tap the selected URL Copy.
Copy a URL
With the Chrome app or Safari- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app or Safari.
- Go to google.com.
- Search for the page.
- In search results, tap the title of the page.
- At the top, tap the address bar to select the entire URL.
- Tap the selected URL Copy.
- Open the Google app .
- Search for the page.
- In search results, tap the title of the page.
- At the top right, tap More tap Copy URL.
