I can’t verify my domain

For customers using managed Google domains, verifying the organization’s domain can enable additional Google products and services. Domain verification is a one-time security check to ensure that no one else can use services or send email that appears to come from your business.

Why can't I verify my domain?
Your organization may have already created a managed Google domain for the purposes of using another Google product (e.g. Workspace) and performed domain verification. Your organization may be continuing to use these products actively or may no longer use them (e.g. after a free trial).
How do I fix the issue?
  • If your organization is already using a managed Google domain and has performed domain verification, you probably just need to set up Android Enterprise for your organization. Sign in to the Google Admin console as a super administrator using your account that ends in @mycompany.com and set up Android.
  • If you are unable to access the Google Admin console as a super administrator, contact your IT admin to enable this for you.
  • If you are unable to contact your IT admin or unsure who set up the existing managed Google domain, contact Google support to verify that you own the domain. The support team will email the primary and secondary email addresses associated with the domain to let them know a new administrator is claiming ownership. They have 72 hours to refute this or move their data. If our support team doesn’t receive a response within 72 hours, they'll remove the domain from the account. You can then complete domain verification.
