Candidate information panels
During an election cycle, candidate information panels may show at the top of your search results when you search for the names of eligible candidates. These panels highlight info on the candidates, such as their political party and what office they're running for. For some elections, information panels may also surface when you search for eligible political parties.
Info about candidates and parties is sourced from vetted, non-partisan, third-party sources. There's also a link to learn more about a candidate or a political party through Google Search.
Below the information panel, you may also notice:
- A link to the official channel of the relevant candidate or party, or
- An official watch card instead.
Voting information panels
During an election cycle, voting information panels may be shown at the top of your search results when you search for info on how to vote. To help you learn more about specific voting info, these panels will refer you to voting information in Google Search that's gathered from vetted, non-partisan, third-party sources, or link you directly to those sources.
Election integrity information panels
In the months leading up to an election, an election integrity information panel may surface if you search for content relevant to the election or voting process in your country. These panels may also show under videos that discuss select elections. Election integrity info panels connect viewers with information about the integrity of the electoral process in a given election. The information panels will link out to non-partisan, third-party sources.
Election results information panels
Election results information panels may show at the top of your search results when you search for videos related to select national elections. These panels may also show under videos that discuss select national elections. The information panels may link out to non-partisan, third-party sources.
Election topics information panels
Information panels related to election topics may be shown at the top of your search results or under relevant videos. These panels link out to trustworthy information from non-partisan, third-party sources, such as a national electoral body. Learn more about topical context in information panels.

You might need to change your search terms. Enter the exact full name of a candidate for information panels and pinned channels to surface in your search results.
Bear in mind:
- YouTube doesn't directly decide which candidates or parties to show a panel for. Instead, we rely on vetted third-party sources for candidate and party info.
- If a candidate does not have a YouTube channel, they will still be featured in an information panel.
- If a candidate's or party's channel has been removed due to a YouTube policy violation, their channel may not show in search results.
- Candidate information panels are only available on the YouTube mobile app (Android and iOS) or on your computer.

Election results information panels will only show on searches or videos related to select national elections in relevant countries/regions. In search, you may need to make your search terms more specific for an information panel to surface. The panels will no longer surface in due course after the elections have concluded and results have been certified.
Bear in mind, election results information panels are only available in some countries/regions and on:
- The YouTube mobile app (Android and iOS)
- Your computer

Information panels may be shown at the top of your search results or under relevant videos for election topics prone to misinformation. Bear in mind that information panels that show more context about election topics are only available in limited countries/regions, for certain topics, such as:
