When a licence strategy is applied to an asset and a video is claimed, the Claimed videos page provides more info about the licensed content found in the claimed video.
View licence info on claimed videos
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
- From the left menu, select Claimed videos .
- Click the filter bar .
- To view manually declared licence claims, select Origin In-product (Studio) and Licence state Active. To view automatically identified licence claims, select Origin Audio match and Licence state Active.
- Click APPLY.
- In the Licence usages column, hover over a claimed video row to view details such as licence strategy, acquisition price for that particular creator, asset name and ID, and other licence terms.
Note: If no licence strategy has been applied to the claimed video that has a standard Content ID claim, a dash will appear in the Licence usages column.
Check licence statuses of claimed videos
- On the Claimed videos page, click the filter bar .
- Select Licence state.
- Select one or more filters:
- Active: Claimed videos with content that's used under an active licence.
- Inactive Licence expired: Claimed videos with content that was used under a licence that's now inactive because the licence has expired.
- Inactive Removed usage: Claimed videos with content that was used under a licence that's now inactive because the creator is no longer using the licensed content.
- Inactive Terms violated: Claimed videos with content that was used under a licence that's now inactive because the licence was revoked due to a user violation of the Creator Music restrictions.
- Click APPLY.
Get more details about licence usage
- On the Claimed videos page, click a claimed video to open its details page.
- On the claimed video details page, you can view info such as:
- Price: Amount that the creator paid for the licensed track.
- Subscribers: How many subscribers the creator had when the licence was acquired.
- Strategy: Licence strategy linked to the licence strategy page.
- Purchase date: Date on which the creator purchased the track.
- Start date: Date on which the creator published their video using the licensed track.
- Expiry date: Date on which the licence expires.
Licence duration: Amount of time during which the licence remains active, as defined by the licence strategy terms.
Note: If a licence is active, the policy associated with the claim will appear as greyed out because the policy isn't applied until the licence has expired. After the licence has expired, a 'Licence expired' label will appear and a Content ID claim may be created based on your chosen policy.
