Multi-language audio allows you to share your videos with a larger audience by giving you the option to add audio in other languages. You can upload additional languages as audio tracks for new or existing videos.
Note: You may not have multi-language audio available. We will continue to roll this feature out to more creators.
Upload multi-language audio tracks
To get started:
- Sign in to YouTube Studio on your computer.
- From the left-hand menu, select Subtitles.
- Click the video that you'd like to edit.
- Click ADD LANGUAGE and select your language.
- Under 'Audio', click ADD.
- Click SELECT FILE.
- Choose which file to upload. Files must be in a supported audio-only file format and roughly the same length as your video.
- Click PUBLISH when you're ready to upload your audio track.
Note: This feature does not automatically generate dubbed audio tracks. Creators will have to record dubbed audio tracks before uploading.
Replace previously uploaded audio files

- From the left-hand menu, select Subtitles.
