If you're the owner of a playlist, you can make your playlist public, private, or unlisted.
Notes:
- This feature may not be available with supervised experiences on YouTube.
- There's a limit to how many public playlists a channel can create each day across YouTube Music, YouTube main app, and the YouTube API. You can increase your daily limit by gaining access to advanced features. Learn more.
Set playlist privacy through YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left menu, select Content Playlists.
- On the playlist you want to update, click Details .
- From the “Playlist details” page, click Visibility select the new privacy setting from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save.

- Sign in to YouTube.
- Tap your profile picture Playlists View all to view all your playlists.
- Select the playlist that you’d like to edit tap Edit .
- In the “Edit playlist” section, select the new privacy setting from the Privacy menu.
- Tap Save.
Privacy settings
- Anyone can watch and share Public videos and playlists.
- Anyone with the video link can watch and share Unlisted videos and playlists.
- YouTube systems and human reviewers may review Private videos and playlists for ad suitability, copyright, and other abuse prevention mechanisms.
