If you’re on your mobile device or at your computer, you can share your own playlists or ones created by other YouTubers. When you share a playlist, a link is created that you can give to somebody else. You can share it on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
If your playlist includes any private videos, you'll need to invite your friends to view the videos first.
How to share a YouTube playlist
Subscribe to our YouTube Help channel to get the most out of YouTube.
To share a playlist, copy the URL from your browser when you’re visiting the playlist page.
Look for “playlist” in the URL to make sure you’re sharing a playlist and not simply a video within a playlist. Example: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=<playlist ID>.
Find playlists
Find your own playlist
- Sign in to YouTube.
- From the left menu, select Playlists.
- Under “Playlists,” click the playlist to get to the playlist page.
- Copy the URL in the browser.
Find someone else’s playlist
- Go to their channel page select Playlists.
- Below the playlist you want to share, click View full playlist.
- Copy the URL in the browser.
Find playlist from a video
If you’re watching a video within a playlist:
- On the right side, click the playlist title in the box to get to the playlist page.
- Copy the URL in the browser.
Note: If videos aren’t appearing in an embedded playlist, the uploader may have turned off the embed option for some of the videos. Private videos will also not play in the playlist unless they've been shared with you by the uploader.
For Creators: Make sure that the content in your playlist is only public videos that allow embedding.
If you can't follow these instructions, you're likely using the old version of YouTube. If you're using a newer browser, update to the current version of YouTube.
