If the Art Track for one of your sound recordings displays incorrect track information, you can update the Art Track using the same method you used to deliver your original sound recordings:
-
By uploading a new version of the Art Track upload spreadsheet
-
By submitting a new DDEX file
Update messages must include all metadata for the sound recording, not just the updated values. For example, if you originally provided a custom ID for the sound recording, you need to include the custom ID in the update message. To update a single track in an album, you must include the metadata for all tracks on the album, even the tracks that haven't been updated.
Updating ISRC codes in a release would takedown previously delivered art track assets and create new ones.

If you're updating any of the media files used for the Art Track, upload the files along with the spreadsheet or DDEX file. The media files must meet the required specifications. You don't need to reupload any media files that aren't changing.
Note: If you want to update album artwork only, you can either send an update with:
- Only the new artwork image file, or
- Both the new artwork image file and all audio files
