You can choose whether or not to allow “quick purchases” on YouTube. When the quick purchases option is turned on, any device that you're signed in to can make YouTube purchases without any extra verification.
By default, purchase verification is already turned on, and applies to every device associated with your Google Account. When purchase verification is on, that means certain info, like your Google Account password, is required to make a purchase on YouTube. Having purchase verification turned on can help prevent accidental or unauthorized charges. If you don’t want to require verification, see below for how to turn on quick purchases instead.
- Your preferred verification method may not be used in all purchase scenarios. In some instances, you may still be required to verify via another method that is not your chosen one.
- Purchase verification may still be required for some Movies & TV show purchases on YouTube, even if you have quick purchases turned on.
- If needed, you can change or reset your Google Account password.
