If a podcast is missing from YouTube Music, you can still save it to your library using the show's RSS feed link. Learn how to add podcasts to your library below.
How it works
Before you start, log in to the YouTube Music app using an adult (18+) account. When you listen to a podcast hosted by an RSS feed, the host of that RSS feed will have access to your IP address.
If you add a podcast by URL, it will have the same features as podcasts in the YouTube Music app, but you will not be able to:
- Switch between audio and video
- Like or dislike content
- Share shows or episodes
- See the podcast's channel page
- Report shows or episodes
- View captions
Add podcasts to your library using RSS feeds
- From the YouTube Music app, tap Library .
- Tap Podcast at the top of the screen.
- In the bottom-right corner, select Add podcast .
- Select Add a podcast by RSS feed .
- Read and accept the disclaimer.
- When prompted, enter the URL of the RSS feed that you'd like to add to your YouTube Music Library.
- Tap Add to save the podcast to your library.
Most podcasts will be available within minutes, but some may take longer to appear in your library. Podcasts added using an RSS feed URL have a badge next to the podcast title in your library.
Remove a podcast URL feed from your library
Podcasts added to your library using an RSS feed URL work differently to podcasts in YouTube Music. If a podcast becomes available in YouTube Music, you may want to remove the URL feed from your library.
To remove a podcast URL feed from your library:
- Go to your library in the YouTube Music app.
- Tap the menu next to the podcast that you'd like to remove.
- Select Remove from library.
