If you're an administrator of Google Accounts for an organization, you can control who uses Appsheet from their account. You can turn on the Appsheet service for everyone in your organization, specific organizational units, or specific groups. Users who have Appsheet turned on can use it to use all the services offered by Appsheet. Users who have Appsheet turned off retain limited access to the service, as described in the next section.
Before you begin
- The free version of AppSheet is available to all Google Workspace subscriptions, which allows for prototyping applications and testing with 10 or fewer users (including the app creator).
- AppSheet Core is included in most Google Workspace editions. For details, see Google Workspace editions that include AppSheet Core.
- For Google Workspace editions that don't include AppSheet Core, subscriptions for AppSheet can be purchased in the Google Admin console. For details, go to Add and set up AppSheet for Google Workspace.
- Other types of AppSheet licenses can be purchased in AppSheet account billing settings. For details, go to AppSheet pricing plans.
-
To turn the service on or off for a set of users, put their accounts in an organizational unit or an access group.
What happens when Appsheet is off
Users signed in with their Google Workspace account where the service has been turned off can still use the service, but only in limited capacity similar to a user signed out of their account. For example, if Appsheet is set to Off, the user can’t log into appsheet.com or use Appsheet. Even with Appsheet turned off in the admin console, existing apps owned by app users will continue to function normally.
