This article provides an overview of recommended settings and features that Google Workspace administrators should enable to support compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS). To support CJIS compliance, you must have a Google Workspace Enterprise Plus edition, Assured Controls and Assured Support.
Support compliance with CJIS
Set a data region
To set a new data region policy, follow the steps in Step 2: Set a data region policy. Select the data region option: United States.
Turn on Access Management
To enable Access Management, follow the steps in Set up Access Management and select the option: Access by CJIS-authorized and IRS 1075-authorized Google staff only.
