If you're using Google Calendar Resource Sync (GCRS), follow these instructions to set up HCL Notes and Google resources for synchronization.
Step 1: Upload Notes resource profiles to GCRS
- In GCRS, click ResourcesLoad Resources.
- Select Notes resources in the HCL Domino directory.
- Click OK.
Step 2: Link Notes and Google resources
Before you synchronize, the Notes and Google calendar resources must be linked. To link them, add the Google resource email address to the GCRS resource profiles. You can do this automatically or manually. If the resource already exists in Google Workspace, add it manually. If it doesn't, you can link the resources automatically.
Link resources automatically
- In GCRS, click Resources.
- Select the resources you want to provision in G Suite.
- Click Provision Resources.
Link resources manually
- Sign in to the Google Workspace domain as super administrator.
- Click AppsGoogle WorkspaceCalendarResources.
A list of Calendar resources appears.
- Click a resource that you want to link to GCRS.
- Copy the resource's email address.
- Locate and open the corresponding resource profile in the GCRS database.
- Enter the email address in the Google Workspace address field.
- Save the resource profile.
- Repeat the steps for each resource you want to link.
Step 3: Set autoaccept value for Google resources
- Sign in to Google Workspace as a super administrator.
- Open your Calendar.
- In the Administration database, open the Resource document.
- Copy the internet address and enter it in Other Calendars in Google Calendar.
- Verify the resource appears in My Calendars list.
- Point to the Calendar resource name and select Calendar settings.
- Set Auto-accept invitations to Auto-accept invitations that do not conflict.
Note: If you're migrating user calendar data where Notes events include resource booking details, select Automatically add all invitations to this calendar. Change the setting to Auto-accept invitations that do not conflict after migrations finish.
- Click Save.
Step 4: Activate resources for synchronization
Resources cannot be synchronized until they are activated. Active resources show and inactive resources show .
- In GCRS, click Resources.
- Select the resources to activate.
- Click Toggle Status.
Note: Click Toggle Status again to change from active to inactive, if needed.
