To use Jamboard as a whiteboarding device, you need to activate it and add it to your domain.
To remove a device from your domain, deprovision it. This also resets the device to the factory settings, which erases the device configuration. You might want to do this if you want to reuse the device in a different organization, or to clear functional issues.
Add a Jamboard to your domain
To add a Jamboard to your domain, you need an activation code. When a Jamboard is powered on for the first time and connected to an open WiFi network, a screen will appear with an 8-digit activation code.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

Go to Menu DevicesJamboardDevices.
Some features may require having the Jamboard Management privilege.
- At the top, click Add .
- Enter the board location and device name.
- Enter the activation code and click Activate.
Remove a Jamboard device from your domain
Removing a Jamboard device from your domain also restores it to the factory settings.
If the Jamboard device is not connected to your network, you can reset it manually before deprovisioning.

- Click the device you want to remove.
- Click Deprovision.
- Click Deprovision to confirm.
