Rewrite content
Use Gemini for Google Workspace to quickly rewrite content. Shorten, elaborate, or adjust the tone using Gemini. You can even use Gemini to turn existing text into a new form, such as a poem or a script.
- On your computer, open a Google Doc file.
- In the document, click where you want to write.
- Select the content you want to rewrite.
- On the left, click Help me write .
- Choose an option, or enter a custom prompt. For example:
- Rewrite this content like you're telling a story.
- Turn this content into a short blog post with bullet points highlighting the top 3 benefits for customers.
- Review the response, and continue to refine it as needed.
- When you're done, choose an option:
- Insert—Add the new content below the original.
- Replace—Swap the original with the new content.
