- Devices that use Google’s services when you're signed in to a Google Account
My Activity lets you use saved data to:
- Access and manage your search history and activity in one central place from any device.
- View and filter activity by date, product, and keyword.
- Manually or automatically delete some or all activity.
- You can delete individual items, activity from a certain time frame, or all activity. You can also choose to automatically delete activity older than 3 months, 18 months, or 36 months.
How Google saves activity & content in other places
- Some Google products store activity in places other than My Activity.
- If Location History is turned on, your precise location is regularly saved to your Maps Timeline.
- At any time, you can delete Location History from your Timeline.
- Your browser may save browsing history and other data.
- In Chrome, you can delete:
- You can browse in private to stop Chrome from saving:

- Cookies
- Site data
- Info that you enter in forms
- If Location History is turned on, your precise location is regularly saved to your Maps Timeline.
- You can find activity that may be saved elsewhere at other Google activity.

- Gmail
- Photos

- You can require an extra verification step to view your full history on My Activity.
- If you have more than one Google Account, each account keeps its activity separate.

Google Activity controls help you:
- Choose what data your Google Account stores.
- Customize privacy settings to best meet your needs.
At any time, you can delete:
- Data from My Activity.
- Location History from your Timeline.
For limited purposes, like business or legal requirements, Google may keep certain data for a period of time.
You can always download your activity.
