Google Ad Manager and Studio
Studio allows you or an advertiser to manage rich media creatives . These creatives can be shared or pushed to your Ad Manager network, where they can then be added to line items. Your Google Ad Manager network may not be able integrated with Studio. Talk to your Ad Manager administrator for more information.
You can integrate Studio creatives with reporting and analytics outside of Google Ad Manager by implementing third-party tracking URLs. You can implement these types of tracking in Ad Manager:
Third-party impressions
To implement third-party impression pixels in a Google Ad Manager 360 Studio creative:
- Open the creative in Ad Manager.
- In the creative's "Settings" tab, add a tracking URL (URL only; don't include the
<script>
code) in the "Third-party all impressions URL" field.
You can add a URL to the "Third-party rich media impressions URL" field instead if you don't want to count instances when the backup image is displayed. - Click Save.
Third-party click-throughs
To implement third-party redirects (clickthrough URLs) in a Studio creative:
- Open the creative in Ad Manager.
- In the "Tracking events" tab, find the event for the clickthrough, or exit, you would like to update.
- In the "Destination URL" column, click the URL for the exit you want to update. This will make the cell editable.
- Paste the main redirect URL.
- Click Save.
Survey URLs
- Open the creative in Ad Manager.
- In the creative's "Settings" tab, paste the survey URL (URL only; don't include the
<script>
code) in the "Survey URL" field. - Click Save.
The survey URL must be JavaScript-based. If the survey URL is a 1x1 image pixel, paste it into the "Third-party all impressions URL" field so it can be called as an image pixel instead of JavaScript.
