Add a service account user for API access

Service accounts are special Google Accounts you can generate that can be used by applications to access Ad Manager through the API. A service account does not require human authorization, but uses a key file that only your application can access.

Add a new service account user

API access must be enabled for your network to add a service account user. Developers can learn more about API authentication in the developer documentation.

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Click Admin and then Global settings and then Network settings.
  3. Click Add a service account user.
  4. Enter information for the new service account user, using the service account email address that the API client provided.
  5. Click Save.
