A forecast segment is a slice of targeted inventory that you use to create forecast adjustments or to revisit the forecast for important parts of your inventory.
Example
Create a forecast segment of all Sports placements and name it "Sports".
Segments can target any component in the targeting selector. Once you create a segment, the targeting cannot be changed.
You can create segments from any of the three tabs on the "Traffic forecast" page.

- Click Inventory Traffic forecast.
- Click the Forecast tab.
- Click Targeting and update the targeting of your forecast.
