Edit user roles and permissions

If you have administrator permissions, you can change a user’s role and edit user role permissions.

Change a user's role

You can change a user’s role once they’ve accepted the invite. If you need to change their role before they’ve accepted the invite, you can remove the user with Pending invite and resend the invite with the new user role.

To change a user's role:

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. In the row of the user you’d like to change, hover over the user role. Click Edit.
  5. Select the new role from the dropdown.
  6. Click Update.

The user receives notification that their user role has changed.

Edit app access

You can edit which apps a user has access to after they accept the invitation:

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. In the App access column of the user, click Edit
  5. Select the apps you’d like this user to access, or click the toggle next to Select all current and future apps to give the user access to all apps in your AdMob account.
  6. Click Confirm
Note: Administrators and managers automatically have access to all apps. To change their app access, you must first change their user role.

Edit user role permissions

You can edit the permissions for custom user roles. Permissions control what users can see and do in your account. If you’d like to change the access of all the users in a select user role, you can edit the role’s permissions:

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. Click Manage roles
  5. Select the permissions you’d like to apply to the user role.
Note: Updating the user role permissions changes the permissions for all users with that user role.
