As part of our efforts to protect publisher accounts and provide account-specific support, we need you to provide a valid phone number.
To confirm that your information is accurate and up-to-date, we may ask you to verify your phone number via SMS text or phone call. You'll receive a 6-digit personal identification number (PIN) to enter and verify your account.
Phone verification isn't required if you've previously verified with Google. If it's required for you, you'll be prompted during AdMob sign-up.
Verify your phone number
During AdMob sign-up, you may be prompted to verify your account using your phone number.
Complete the steps below to verify your account:
- Enter your phone number using the international format:
+(Country code)(Area code)(Phone number)
.Note: Your phone number's country code must match the country/territory you selected when you signed up for AdMob. For example, if you selected "United Kingdom" when you signed up, your phone number must start with +44. - Choose how you'd like your verification code sent: text message (SMS) or voice call.
- Click Send. You should soon be contacted by the method you selected in the previous step.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code you received and click Submit. If you didn't get the PIN, you can click Resend code to try again.
Fix verification issues
For common verification issues, we recommend:
- Trying another phone number, possibly from a different provider.
- Waiting at least 7 days without any attempt to sign in or verify your account before trying again with a new number.
- Not using a VPN.
Didn't receive the text message
If you live in a densely populated area or if your carrier's infrastructure isn't well maintained, text message delivery can be delayed. If you've waited more than a few minutes and still haven't received our text message, try the voice call option.
