Locate check information
To find your check information:
- Sign in to your AdSense account.
- Click Payments, then Payments info, then View transactions.
- On your "Transactions" page, locate the line item for your check and click the "Automatic payment" link. A payment receipt opens showing the payment number, date, and amount.
Missing, expired, canceled, or incorrect checks
Missing checks
There are two main reasons why your check might not have arrived:
- The check went to the wrong address. In this case, you'll need to change the payee information in your AdSense account before you request a new check.
- The check may have been misplaced in the postal service of your country.
Expired, canceled, or incorrect checks
There are two main reasons why you might not be able to deposit your check:
- The check has expired. Depending on your country, AdSense checks are valid for 6-12 months from their date of issue. If you do not deposit your check within this timeframe, your earnings will be credited back to your account and your payments will be put on hold. Learn what to do for payments on hold for an expired check.
- The check is canceled. Balances for any canceled old checks are returned to your account and paid out with your next payment (as long as you have no holds on your account and you've met the payment threshold).
- The check is incorrect. In this case, you might need to amend the payee information in your AdSense account.
Request a check reissue
To request a reissue of your check from your AdSense account:
- Sign in to your AdSense account.
- Click Payments, then Payments info, then View transactions.
- On your "Transactions" page, find the issue date and current status of your check. If your check still hasn't been cashed after 60 days, you'll see a "Reissue payment" link next to the check's status.
- Click Reissue payment and confirm that you want to reissue the payment. A new line item appears showing that the check has been stopped and that your reissue is in progress.
When to contact your bank
If the "Reissue payment" link doesn't appear in your account after 60 days, your check may have been deposited and unable to be reissued. Review your bank records for the payment or contact your bank directly to investigate the issue.
Additionally, please be aware that different banks often take different amounts of time to clear checks. We suggest contacting your bank directly for more information.
