If the pre-made reports don't provide the information you're looking for, you can create your own overview report that shows information that's important to your business.
Before you begin
You must be an editor or administrator to create an overview report.
Steps
- In Google Analytics, click Reports on the left.
- In the left navigation, click Library on the bottom left. If you do not see the option, you don't have permission to create an overview report. You must be an administrator or editor to create an overview report.
- In the 'Reports' section, click + Create new report > Create overview report.
- Click + Add cards.
- Select up to 16 summary cards. The custom summary cards you've created in a detail report appear in the Summary Cards tab when the detail report is included in at least one report collection.
- To arrange the summary cards in the report, drag and drop a summary card on the right.
- To remove a summary card, click on the right.
- When you're done, click Save.
- Enter a name for the report and click Save.
Result
The report is now available in the 'Reports' section of the report library. If you want others to be able to access the report easily, you can add the report to your left navigation.
