When your data is sampled, you can choose between more detailed reports or faster using the the data quality icon:
- More detailed results: Uses the maximum sample size possible to give you results that are the most precise representation of your full data set
- Faster results: Uses a smaller sampling size to give you faster results
By default, Google Analytics 4 provides you results using Faster results. You can select More detailed results for each query you want to run with the higher sample size. Any change you make that requires the query to run again will revert back to the default Faster results option.
If no sampling is in effect (the report is based on 100% of sessions), then the data quality icon is green and changing these options will not affect your results.
