Use the Funnel exploration technique in Explorations to build funnels from dimensions, metrics, and events. Funnels can represent anything from a specific series of screens or pages, a succession of events, a changing set of demographic attributes, to any successive combination of dimensions, metrics, and events you want to analyze.
For example, the first step might be:
- Gender - exactly matches - female
- AND
- Age - exactly matches - 25-34
- AND
- Device category - exactly matches - mobile
And the second step might be:
- Screen_Name - contains - new_arrivals
Funnel exploration lets you see whether the completion rate and abandonment rate for each step matches your expectations, for example, whether the combination of ads and content are compelling enough to deliver the users you want and encourage them to complete the key events you want.
