When you use a service other than Google with your Assistant, a unique ID code is sent to the service so it can remember your actions and preferences during conversations.
- If you do not want a service to remember your past actions and preferences, reset your ID.
- If you do not want a service to remember your past or future actions and preferences, stop the service from remembering you.

Google Assistant on phone or tablet
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Assistant app .
- At the bottom, tap .
- Next to the service you want to change, tap Notes .
- At the bottom, tap Reset app.
Important: If you don't find "Reset," you can manage your app data in My Activity.

- If you don’t have the Google Assistant app, you’ll be asked to download it.

- Resetting your ID doesn't prevent the service from remembering you when you’re signed in to your account with that service on the Google Assistant.
- Your past activity with a service isn't deleted from your Google Account. Learn how to delete activity saved in your Google Account.
- Your past activity, including purchases, isn't deleted from the service’s app.
