Limit interruptions with the Google Assistant

To silence calls and notifications, ask the Google Assistant to turn on Do Not Disturb.

  • You can control Do Not Disturb on a phone connected to your Google account.

  • You can control Do Not Disturb on speakers, Smart Displays and Smart Clocks connected to your Google account and on the same Wi-Fi network.

To control Do Not Disturb on other devices with the Google Assistant, you must turn on Voice Match and use the Google Assistant in English (US).

Note: When you turn on Do Not Disturb for speakers, Smart Displays and Smart Clocks, you won’t be able to broadcast voice messages to those devices or receive Duo calls on your Smart Display.
