Bidder endpoints

At least one endpoint must be registered with Google to participate in real-time bidding, where the bid requests received by any individual endpoint are dependent on its trading location and your pretargeting configuration.

Once configured, the endpoint's url will receive a number of bid requests per second that is near the value specified for maximumQps, which will be in the specified bidProtocol. It is possible the number of bid requests will be lower than the maximum. This could be due to overly restrictive pretargeting or a high error rate resulting in throttling.

To learn more about this topic, read the Callout Quota System Guide.

As of April 2022, we no longer support displaying versions of the OpenRTB protocol in the UI.  Buyers should continue to integrate and declare versions while bidding, but we will no longer show this version in the UI.

Contact support if you have any questions on this.

Review and update bidder endpoints

  1. Sign in to Authorized Buyers.

  2. Click Bidder settings and then Bidder endpoints.
  3. Update your endpoint configuration for maximum QPS, trading location, and bid protocol.

To delete an endpoint, click Dismiss and Confirm.

Endpoints with the same url must have the same bid protocol to ensure that changes to endpoints save. This is irrespective of QPS or trading location.

Once an endpoint is deleted, you cannot undo this action. Contact support to add new endpoints or re-add the deleted endpoint.

Create new endpoints

At this time, you must contact the support team to create a new endpoint or update the URL of an existing endpoint. This process typically takes up to 48 hours and includes verification that you own the endpoint. Updates to your endpoints may take longer due to internal infrastructure updates or temporary outages.
