Updated Programmatic Guaranteed SLA framework

A revised Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) SLA framework for Authorized Buyers is in effect as of July 1, 2021. This updated PG SLA replaces the existing SLA that was put into place in 2018.

SLA

The updated PG SLA is based on bid rate when Ad Manager requires a bid to deliver in full (as represented by the must_bid parameter). Authorized Buyers are therefore expected to respect the must_bid parameter on every PG bid request (100% of the time). This means that whenever must_bid=true, they’re expected to bid with a valid response.  For clarity, bid requests for which must_bid=false are not counted towards SLA compliance.

The minimum bid rate SLA requirement is set at 60%.  Below this threshold, bidders will be in breach of the SLA.

Assistance and benefits

To help you monitor bid performance relative to the updated SLA, bid compliance metrics have been added to the Authorized Buyers UI, within the Deals page. Bid compliance metrics are aggregated at the bidder level, as well as broken out by individual PG deals.
