Filter your report

Learn how to apply filters to your report

As part of the report creation process, you have the option to narrow down your report results.

To refine and specify your report data, you could apply filters. You can view data by dimension family, configure the filter to include or restrict values from the selected family, and further narrow down your results by specific values from the dimension family. The dimension and operation options help you exclude or include specific pieces of data. Every selected dimension can be filtered.

Set your filters

  1. Click the first filter drop-down to select your dimension. For example, if you needed to filter by country, you would select “Countries,” choose your operator, and then select from the list of countries.
  2. Click the second filter drop-down to select your operator. Select either is or is not. In addition, you can also select contains or does not contain. These two options allow you to enter specific strings to include or exclude data. Reporting attempts to do an exact match on the string (regardless of case).
