Business groups (previously known as business accounts) make it easier for multiple administrators to manage a set of locations. There are 2 types of business group/business account users: owners and managers.
Looking for owners and managers of a profile, rather than a business group/business account? Click here.
Business group/business accounts can have multiple owners, but only one primary owner. Owners and primary owners have the same capabilities, but primary owners can’t remove themselves from a business group/business account until they transfer their primary ownership to another user.
Business group/business account owners are the only users that can add and remove account owners and managers, delete the business group/business account, or transfer the business group/business account to another owner.
Google Groups can't be added as managers or owners of business group/business accounts.
Business group/business account managers are able to add, edit, and delete all of the locations in the business group/business account. They can also add and remove managers of individual locations.
Business group/business account managers can only be added to the account by a business group/business account owner. Google Groups can't be added as managers or owners of profiles.
When you sign in to your account, you'll find the "Accounts you own or manage" page. If you're an owner or manager of a business group/business account, you'll find a note about your level of access below the business group/business account name: either "business group/business account you own" or “business group/business account you manage".
Here's a summary of the different capabilities of business group/business account owners and business group/business account managers:

Owners and managers of individual locations
Just as accounts have owners and managers, individual locations can have owners and managers. People who aren't owners or managers of the business group/business account can be invited to own or manage individual locations.
