Step 2: Change event permissions

To choose which events display on your calendar, change your settings.
  1. On your Android device, open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu Menu and then Settings .
  3. Tap General and then Adding invitations and then Add invitations to my calendar.
  4. Select Only if the sender is known.
    • This adds an event to your calendar only if the sender is in your contacts, part of your organization, or someone you've interacted with.
      • This option might reveal to senders they aren't in your contacts.
