Manage the renewal setting for a subscription

If you have customers on an Annual Plan, yearly or monthly, their subscription automatically switches to the Flexible Plan on their renewal date. You can choose a different plan at any time before the renewal date. The new plan takes effect on the customer's renewal date.

Update the renewal option

Changing the customer's renewal option won't impact their service.

  1. Sign in to the Partner Sales Console.
  2. On the Customers page, click the customer name.
  3. Select an active subscription.
  4. In the lower right corner, click Update.


     
  5. Select a renewal option and click Confirm.

Renewal options

  • Not all plans are available with all subscriptions.
  • Pricing information is available 30 days before the renewal date.

Add and delete users at any time. At the end of the month, you're charged for the number of accounts in service during the month.

Auto-renew my commitment contract yearly

At the end of the month that the contract is renewed, you're charged for all committed licenses for the full year.

On the renewal date, your customer starts a new 12-month subscription. You receive 2 notifications: 30 days and 3 days before the renewal date. You can choose to renew the contract at the same or fewer numbers of annual licenses:

  • With the same licenses–The annual number of licenses is equal to the customer's number of licenses on the renewal date.
  • With fewer licenses–The annual number of licenses is reduced to the customer's number of licensed users on the renewal date.

You're charged monthly for the annual commitment.

On the renewal date, your customer starts a new 12-month subscription. You receive 2 notifications: 30 days and 3 days before the renewal date. You can choose to renew the contract at the same or fewer numbers of annual licenses:

  • With the same licenses–The annual number of licenses is equal to the customer's number of licenses on the renewal date.
  • With fewer licenses–The annual number of licenses is reduced to the customer's number of licensed users on the renewal date.
Cancel my subscription

Cancel my subscription

When the annual commitment ends, the customer's service is suspended and you're no longer billed for that customer. In the Partner Sales Console, the customer's subscription status is set to Canceled.
