Google Voice downgrades

Downgrade from Voice Premier to Voice Standard

Customers with Voice Premier can downgrade to Google Voice Standard. If the customer downgrades from Premier, they lose these features and services:

  • International office locations—You can't assign phone numbers outside the U.S.
  • BigQuery export—You can't export Voice activity to BigQuery.

Downgrade to Voice Starter

If you have 10 or less users, you can downgrade to Voice Starter.

To downgrade a Voice Premier or Voice Standard subscription to Voice Starter, you first need to cancel your current account.

  1. Make a list of each user and their assigned phone number.
  2. Cancel your current Voice subscription.
After you cancel your subscription, do the following steps within 60 days, or you lose your phone numbers.
  3. Add the Voice Starter subscription.
  4. Reassign Voice licenses to your users.
  5. Reassign Voice numbers to users, using your list to assign the correct number to each user.
