As an admin, you can use your Google Admin console to see additional details of apps and extensions that are installed on users’ enrolled Chrome browsers and ChromeOS devices.
Before you begin
- Turn on Cloud reporting. For details, see Enable Chrome browser reporting.
- It can take up to 24 hours for data to show up in reports.
View the app or extension details

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu DevicesChromeReportsApps & extensions usage.
- To show all apps and extensions, click All extensions. Otherwise, select an organizational unit.
- To view additional details of an app or extension installed on the Chrome browsers and ChromeOS devices that you manage, click its row.
View and set installation policies
Applies to Chrome extensions, Android apps, and progressive web apps

Sign in to your Google Admin console.

- To show all apps and extensions, click All extensions. Otherwise, select an organizational unit.
- To view the installation policy for an app or extension, click its row.
- To set the installation policy for an app or extension that has not already been configured, click Set installation policy.
- To view and set additional configurations for an app or extension, under Installation policy click View and set additional configurations.
The Apps & Extensions page for that Chrome Extension, Android app, or progressive web app is displayed. For details, see View and configure apps and extensions.
Note: Available installation policies depend on whether you're updating an app or extension for users and browsers, kiosks, or managed guest sessions.

Risk assessment
Applies to Chrome extensions that are publicly available in the Chrome Web Store
You can view third-party data about the app or extension’s risk score. Google makes no guarantee about the data provided by third-party companies. Google does not host, control, or modify risk assessment data.
Providers try to assess most versions of an extension, but there might be instances where a risk assessment score is not available. This is not a bug.

Review a risk score
You might review an extension's risk score, and decide to provide a risk reassessment. For example, you might rate an extension as more high risk than the current third-party provider's score indicates. To contribute your feedback, under Risk assessment, click the risk score hyperlink. This brings you to Spin.ai where you can suggest an improvement.
Requested permissions
Applies to Chrome extensions and Android apps only
You can view all the permissions that the app or extension has requested.

Installs
Applies to Chrome extensions, Android apps, and progressive web apps
You can view the installation details of the app or extension for enrolled Chrome browsers and ChromeOS devices that you manage. This information can be viewed in different ways depending on your preference. For details, see How to use Chrome Enterprise Core's Takeout API Service Script.
