Applies to iOS users who use managed Chrome browser.
As a Chrome Enterprise administrator, you can use Cisco Meraki to deploy a Chrome Enterprise Core enrollment token and enroll your Chrome browsers. You can then use your Google Admin console to enforce policies for any users who open Chrome browser on an enrolled Apple iOS device.
Before you begin
- Make sure you have access to the Meraki dashboard.
- Make sure that the Meraki self-service portal is enabled by doing the following:
- Go to System ManagerConfigureGeneral.
- Enable the self-service portal.
- Make sure that your iOS Platform management is configured, an APNS certificate is assigned, and a Device User Profile is created.
Enroll browsers
Step 1: Generate the enrollment token

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).
- Generate an enrollment token. See Generate enrollment token.
- Copy the token to use in step 3.
Step 2: Add the Google Chrome app
- Sign into the Meraki dashboard.
- Hover over System Manager and under the Manage column, click Apps.
- On the top right, click + Add App.
- Make sure iOS App and App Store App is selected.
- Click Next.
- Search for and select Google Chrome.
- Configure Installation options, Licenses and Targets as needed.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Assign the enrollment token to Chrome browser
- Still in the Meraki dashboard, hover over System Manager and under the Manage column, click Settings.
- On the top right, click + Add Profile.
- Under Standard, make sure the default, Device profile, is selected.
- Click Continue.
- Enter a name and description for the profile.
- Configure Removal Policy and Targets as needed.
- On the top left, click + Add Settings.
- Select iOS.
- Select Managed App Config.
- For the platform, select iOS.
- For the app, select Google Chrome.
- For the key, enter CloudManagementEnrollmentToken.
- For the value, paste the enrollment token generated in Step 1.
- Click Save.
