Enroll Browsers with Mosyle (iOS/iPadOS)

Applies to iOS and iPad users who use managed Chrome browser.

As a Chrome Enterprise administrator, you can use Mosyle to generate a Chrome Enterprise Core enrollment token and enroll your Chrome browsers. You can then use your Google Admin console to enforce policies for any users who open Chrome browser on an enrolled iOS or iPad device.

Before you begin

Enroll browsers

Step 1: Generate the enrollment token

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. Generate an enrollment token. See Generate enrollment token.
  3. Copy the token to use in step 2.

Step 2: Assign the enrollment token to Chrome browser

Enroll your browsers using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Enroll bowsers with Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP)

  1. Sign-in to your Mosyle Business account.
  2. At the top, click Management.
  3. On the left, confirm that iOS/iPadOS is selected.
  4. On the left under Management Profiles, click Install App.
  5. Click Add new profile and enter a name.
  6. If you have an Apple Apps and Books token:
    1. Select the token that has licenses available for Google Chrome as the installation source.
    2. If licenses for Google Chrome are not available, sign into your Apple Business Manager account to get licenses at no cost.
    3. Choose device-based license assignment.
  7. Click + Add Application and select Google Chrome.
  8. In the Cloud Management Enrollment Token field, paste the enrollment token you generated in step 1.
  9. Assign the profile to the users and devices you want to install and click Save.

Option 2: Enroll bowsers without Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP)

  1. Sign-in to your Mosyle Business account.
  2. At the top, click Management.
  3. On the left, confirm that iOS/iPadOS is selected.
  4. On the left under Management Profiles, click Install App.
  5. Click Add new profile and enter a name.
  6. For Installation source, select App Store.
  7. Click + Add Application and select Google Chrome.
  8. In the Cloud Management Enrollment Token field, paste the enrollment token you generated in step 1.
  9. Assign the profile to the users and devices you want to install and click Save.
