For administrators who enroll Windows, Mac, or Linux computers in Chrome Enterprise Core.
As an administrator, you can use your Google Admin console to find details about enrolled Chrome browsers. You can review information such as enrollment dates, installed extensions, applied policies, and more.
View browser information

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu DevicesChromeManaged browsers.
If you signed up for Chrome Enterprise Core, go to Menu Chrome browserManaged browsers.
- (Optional) On the left, select an organizational unit. By default, all browsers are shown.
Review information about browsers you manage
You can see the following information for the browsers you manage.
Browser information | Description |

Machine name |
The name of the machine that the browser is running on. |
Organizational unit |
The organizational unit that the browser belongs to. |
Last activity |
The date and time of the most recent interaction between all instances of managed Chrome browsers and Google servers. These interactions can include enrollment actions, policy sync, reporting, and so on. This field can be updated even if the device is offline, for example if a browser is moved to a new organizational unit. |
Browser version |
The full version number of the browser. |
Update status | Indicates if a pending update version is available. The pending update version represents the version of Chrome browser that will be installed on browser restart. |
Number of extensions |
How many extensions and apps are installed on the browser. Clicking a row will open the browser details page and list the details of each app and extension. |
Number of policies |
How many policies are set on the browser. Clicking a row will open the browser details page and list the details of each applied policy. |
OS version |
The operating system of the machine that the browser is running on. |
Machine user |
The name of the user who is signed in to the machine that the browser is running on. |
Asset ID |
You can fill in this field to help organize managed browsers. To change it, click any row to go to the browser details page. |
Location |
You can fill in this custom field to organize the browsers that you manage. To edit, click any row and go to the browser details page. |
Enrolment time | Date and time of when the browser was enrolled for Chrome Enterprise Core. |
Notes |
You can add notes about the browsers that you manage in this custom field. To edit, click any row and go to the browser details page. |
View browser details
Clicking a specific browser row opens the browser details page. On the left, you can choose to move the managed browser to another organizational unit or delete the managed browser from the device.
Note: Some fields might not be filled in, depending on whether you enabled Chrome browser reporting.

You can see an overview of the browser on the top-left underneath the browser name.

The number of machine policies that are set on the browser. To list the details of each applied machine policy, scroll down the browser details page to Applied browser policiesMachine policies. |

Search for browsers
Using the search box, you can search for specific browsers in your organization. By default, the search box searches across all fields, including information in the browser details page. You can restrict your search to a specific field by using a filter. For example, to search only for browsers where the machine name matches USER5, use the Machine name filter.
There are also some additional filters which allow you to search using information that is shown on the browser details page.

Filter by the date that the browser was registered on. The date is found in the Enrollment date field on the browser details page. You can use this to find exact dates and match ranges. |
OS platform |
Filter by the operating system platform. For example, windows, mac, and so on. |

Filter by the operating system version listed on the browser details page, such as 10.0.17134.165. This filter can be used in conjunction with the OS platform filter to filter by a specific OS and version of that OS. |
Architecture |
Filter by the architecture of the computer the browser is running on. Information is shown in the Architecture field in the browser details page. |
Enrollment token |
Filter by the enrollment token that the browser was enrolled with. The token can be found in the browser details page under Machine policies, with format abcd1234-a1a1-xyxy-aaaa-1234abcd. |
Last report |
Filter by the date that the browser last synced its policies. You can use this to find exact dates and match ranges. |

Search tips
- Searches are not case sensitive, unless otherwise noted.
- You can include multiple search terms separated by spaces. The table refreshes to show only browsers that match all of your search terms.
- You can search for an exact match on strings 3 characters or longer, where terms are separated by whitespace, hyphens, and periods. For example, if a machine name is USER5-W, searching for user5-W and USER returns the correct result, searching for USER does not.
