Sync ChromeOS passwords using Change Password Notifier for Active Directory

For administrators who manage ChromeOS devices for a business or school.

You can use Change Password Notifier for Active Directory (CPN for AD) to support the synchronization of your users' ChromeOS passwords with their Microsoft Active Directory passwords. Whenever a user's Active Directory password is changed, CPN for AD immediately notifies ChromeOS about this change, and triggers an online sign in, if SAML single sign-on password synchronization is activated. 

Note: CPN for AD does not sync the users’ password to Google. If you want to sync passwords, use Password Sync instead. If you are using Microsoft Entra ID, use Sync ChromeOS passwords using Change Password Notifier for Microsoft Entra ID instead.
