Restore a suspended subscription

Applies to Cloud Identity Premium and other paid subscriptions in your Google Admin console.

If you sign in to your Google Admin console and see that your organization’s Cloud Identity subscription has been suspended, here’s how to restore service.

Restore your subscription as soon as possible. Subscriptions suspended for more than 60 days might be cancelled, and you might lose associated user data. If you need more time to resolve your suspension issue, contact Google Workspace support.

Monthly payment failed

If we can't successfully charge your billing account for a monthly payment and you don't fix the problem within 30 days, we'll suspend your service.


Free trial expired

If you don't set up billing before your free trial ends, we'll suspend your service until you do.


Annual contract was not renewed

(Annual Plan customers only). If you don't renew your annual contract, we'll suspend your service until you restore your contract.


Domain registration through Google expired

If you buy your domain through Google and manage domain renewals in your Admin console, your service can be suspended if you let your annual domain registration expire. If you don't renew quickly, you also risk losing ownership of your domain:


Storage limit was exceeded

If you use more storage than you’re eligible for based on your subscription and number of users, we'll suspend your service within 30 days.

To lift any other type of suspension, follow the instructions that appear in your Admin console.
