An easy way to create Custom Bidding algorithms through goals
You'll be able to generate algorithms based on goals you set up within the platform. These goals will allow for simple creation of ROAS (return on ad spend) or weighted conversion algorithms, without the need to write or test scripts. Just select the Floodlights and their corresponding value.
Insertion order and line item tables will soon be powered by the Combined view
All tables in the Display & Video 360 interface will start using the Combined view infrastructure, allowing for improved workflows and efficiency.
Upgrading TrueView for action campaigns to YouTube video action campaigns
To help you achieve more conversions at an efficient cost, we’re evolving TrueView for action and scaling its best features to more places with YouTube video action campaigns. YouTube video action campaigns allow you to reach more customers in high-performing places on and off YouTube--all within one line item.
To start preparing for these changes, we recommend creating new YouTube video action campaigns by choosing the responsive ad group type during line item setup. You can also use Structured Data Files (SDF) to create responsive ad groups based on your existing standard ad group settings. If you’d like to continue creating TrueView for action campaigns, you can do so until September 30, 2021.
Here are some important dates to keep in mind as we evolve TrueView for action:
- September 30, 2021: You won’t be able to create new TrueView for action campaigns, but your existing TrueView for action campaigns can continue to run. To ensure you achieve the best performance across all Google networks, YouTube video action campaigns now run across YouTube’s Home feed, watch page, and watch next feed, and on Google video partners.
- Early 2022: Display & Video 360 automatically upgrades all TrueView for action campaigns to YouTube video action campaigns and opts all YouTube video action campaigns into new inventories on all Google networks.
Programmatic TV will be deprecated at the end of the year
Display & Video 360's Linear TV buying capability (Programmatic TV) will be deprecated and campaigns will not serve beyond December 31, 2021. Connected TV will remain available.
