Control eligibility to serve YouTube & partner video line items on Google TV
Google TV is a media-streaming platform that allows users to stream TV shows, movies, and other video content from their favorite streaming apps and services. Advertisers are now able to control whether their YouTube & partners video line items serve on Google TV, separate from controlling eligibility to serve on video partners.
The Google TV inventory source is available and enabled by default for efficient reach and non-skippable line items, as well as Instant Reserve deals using bumper and non-skippable in-stream ads, and Masthead ads (for select advertisers only). Eligible line items may serve within in-stream inventory on Google TV channels and Google-owned inventory in video-streaming apps available within Google TV.
Advertisers have the option to opt out by deselecting Google TV in their line item’s inventory source targeting, and report on key metrics using the Inventory Source dimension in YouTube reports. On January 11, 2024, existing line items enabled to serve on Google video partners were automatically enabled to serve on Google TV. This ensures consistent serving as Google TV in-stream inventory was previously included in the video partners inventory source.
