Campaign and workflow updates

Demand Gen line items available to all customers

All Display & Video 360 customers can now create Demand Gen line items. Customers can use video and image ads to reach up to 3 billion monthly users across YouTube, Discover, Gmail, and video partner inventory, optimizing line items to drive clicks or conversions with Floodlight optimization. Demand Gen line items can be managed via SDF by updating your version to v8.

Self-service enablement of YouTube & partners on-by-default third-party measurement

You can select third-party measurement partners for on-by-default enablement on your account without filing a Google support ticket. Enabling a measurement partner for on-by-default will automatically populate the selected partner for newly created YouTube & Partners line items with the option to add a reporting ID.

SDF v8 available for users to select

SDF v8 includes support for Demand Gen, a new column in Ad files for Ad Type, and updated logic regarding timestamp verification and required columns when actioned with Demand Gen resources. More information on SDF v8 and a guide on migrating to SDF v8 can be found on the Developers site.

Assigned advertisers listed in Floodlight Configuration ID picker

Users can see the associated advertisers for given Floodlight configuration IDs in the Floodlight configuration filter picker. By adding the advertisers associated with each Floodlight configuration ID to the filter picker, users are able to easily identify the correct Floodlight Configuration ID to select when setting up a Floodlight related report.

In-line YouTube ads previews

When creating a YouTube ad, advertisers can preview their video creatives in different formats across various surfaces for their YouTube & partners line items. Preview live changes to your ad to decide how your assets will render across various devices and surfaces.

30-second non-skippable ads for YouTube Select in planning

Display & Video 360 now supports 30-second non-skippable in-stream ads for reservation plans targeting YouTube Select. We’ve simplified the planning experience for YouTube by requiring an initial selection between auction and reservation (guaranteed) plans.
