When you manage courses and assignments, different Google Workspace for Education accounts have different permissions.
TeachersCourse owners and the primary instructor can delete a course. Co-teachers can delete assignments but can't delete a course.
To delete a course as a teacher:
- Go to Google Assignments.
- On the right of the course you want to delete, click Course options Delete course.
To delete an assignment as a teacher:
- Go to Google Assignments.
- On the right of the assignment you want to delete, click Assignment options Delete assignment.
Course owners and the primary teacher can delete a course. Co-teachers can delete assignments or leave a course.
To leave a course as a co-teacher:
- Go to Google Assignments.
- On the right of the course you want to unlink, click Course options Leave course.
To delete a course as a co-teacher:
- Go to Google Assignments.
- On the right of the assignment you want to delete, click Assignment options Delete assignment.
