You can use Google Workspace Marketplace and third-party apps and services that interact with Classroom to:
- Create an end-to-end experience in Classroom
- Save time for educators
- Simplify the digital classroom experience for students
Set up Classroom integrations
There are two ways to set up Classroom integrations:
Google Workspace Marketplace
- Open Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Search for apps:
- In the education category
- With the filter 'works with Classroom'
- Click Install.
Third-party apps and services
- Go to the third-party website.
- Follow the instructions for installing the integration.
- Open the integration in Classroom.

Manage third-party apps and services
Manage your third-party apps and services in your Google Account settings.
- Sign in to your Google Account.
- Click Data and privacy.
- Select Apps and services.
- To remove an app or service, click Remove.
- To manage your permissions, click on the app or service and then click Permissions. You can choose which permissions you want to give to the app or service.
Troubleshoot Classroom integration issues
Teachers and students may run into Classroom integration issues if:
- An administrator hasn't configured the app with app access controls.
- The Google Workspace Marketplace installation settings are set to 'Allow users to install and run only selected apps from the Marketplace' and an admin hasn't allowlisted the Google Workspace Marketplace app.
- The Google Workspace Marketplace installation settings are set to 'Allow none'.
